Every sculpture starts with a conversation. Whether it’s a fallen tree, a family story, or just an idea. If it matters to you, I’ll bring it to life.

The timber I use comes from local tree surgeons or sawmills, usually trees that were damaged or needed to come down. Each handcrafted wood sculpture is built to last and made with care.

Take your time, and if something stands out, feel free to get in touch.

FOR BUSINESSES & COMMUNITIES

Hand carved pieces that become landmarks and conversation starters

I’ve carved work for pubs, cafés, garden centres, shops and a few other businesses you might not expect. The pieces are placed outside, where people spot it, stop to look and come over to see what it’s about. In some places the sculpture becomes a local landmark. Something that draws foot traffic and gets people talking.

If you’ve got a spot that could use something a bit different, let’s talk.

Giving back where it counts

Supporting causes communities and the people behind them

I get asked now and again to carve for charities, local fundraisers or people raising money for something close to home. Sometimes I’ll donate a piece for auction. Other times I’ll carve live at an event to help draw a crowd.

I’ve worked with community groups, schools, care charities and all sorts of causes doing good things. If it feels like the right fit, I’m happy to help out.

If you’re working on something like that, just get in touch.

5 SIMPLE STEPS

Commission process

1. It all starts with a conversation. You get in touch, tell me what you’ve got in mind. Whether it’s a tree that means something, a space you’re trying to fill, or just an idea that won’t go away.

2. We’ll talk it through properly. I’ll ask a few questions, get a feel for what matters to you. I don’t do sketches. I prefer to listen, study, and let the piece take shape once I understand what you’re after.

3. Then I’ll get to work. Everything’s carved by hand with a chainsaw, either here in the workshop or on-site if it’s a stump that’s staying where it is.

4. I’ll keep you updated with pictures along the way, and once it’s finished, I’ll get it to you safely.

5. I deliver across the UK using a courier who knows how to handle sculptures, so you can be sure it’ll arrive in one piece.

WHERE THE WORK TAKES SHAPE

Every piece is carved by hand in my North Wales workshop, or on-site if the tree’s staying put. I travel all over the UK to carve at events, in people’s gardens, and for businesses. If it’s a commission, I’ll make sure it’s packed properly and delivered safely, wherever it needs to go.
